OEM GROMMETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR MOST MANUFACTURES: Supplying grommets for racquets that are currently, or recently in production is easy, supplying them for older racquets takes a commitment to maintain such an inventory, a commitement no supplier, other than Tennis Menace seems willing to actually undertake. Example, Wilson Pro Staff St. Vincent & Chicago grommets with & without headguard. We have hundreds of thousands of tennis racquet grommets in our extensive inventory. We spent the cash and bought these grommets, while other dealers sat on their hands. It was, amd continues to be a huge investment. Grommets that are available elsewhere are thus not considered to be rare are not very expensive. However, those that are no longer available from any other source will be priced many times their normal price. Such pricing is totally dependent upon how many are still available in our inventory. WE CUSTOM GROMMET ANY RACQUET, NO EXCEPTIONS! If grommets are no longer available for your particular model, even from us, we can grommet the racquet using our custom grommet replacement system. The cost is $1.00 per hole, so it varies depending upon a racquet's design. Racquets that need this service, need to be sent to us for grommeting and a stringing is required along with the grommet service, @ $19.95 + string price. WHY DO GROMMETS WEAR OUT & REQUIRE REPLACEMENT? Head Guards wear out due to contact with court surfaces. They require replacement when worn out, to prevent permanent damage to the racquet's structure over time. Grommet Tubes wear out due to the stringing process, more easily so, if strung by inexperienced stringers. The more often your racquets require stringing, the more often they will also require new grommets. Add to that the natural aging of plastic. Grommets replacement requires skill. Even the removal of old grommets requires it, to prevent damage to racquets as well as to prevent debris from finding their way inside a racquets hollow structures, which can result in some serious noise issues. We don't recommend you attempt grommet replacement yourself, unless you have all the tools required for the job, and the experience required to do it properly. We do not take grommets back, so verify that you are buying the correct grommets! It's up to you to correctly specify the model of your racquet when placing an order If your request doesn't indicate a specific racquet, we'll request further verification prior to filling your order, to make sure which racquet model you are ordering for. We are a U.S. dealer, & unless otherwise indicated all grommets are for U.S. models. Please e-mail for grommet availability, as we often can't provide info over the phone. Be very specific as to the model you are asking about, & provide a phone # if possible. PALLET REPLACMENT TO CHANGE A RACQUETS GRIPSIZE! Volkl is the only manufacture currently producing grip pallets to change grip sizes. Volkl pallets only fit Volkl racquets. Head no longer sells them. We custom make pallets, & can re-pallet many Head, Prince & Wilson racquets. Racquets must be sent to us for this service. We have three distinct grip shapes available, so yes you may change the grip shape to one of another manufacturer! THROAT YOKES AVAILABLE FOR MANY ALUMINUM RACQUETS. HEAD (STRING LOCK SYSTEM) GROMMETS ARE AVAILABLE. String Locks permit individual string installation on any I-Beam Aluminum racquets sold by HEAD, PRINCE, or Le-Coq SPORTIF. True Proportional Stringing is possible when using String Locks. Each string can be individually tensioned depending upon it's length.
