TENNIS RACQUET GROMMETS
THE WORLDS LARGEST SELECTION OF TENNIS GROMMETS!,|
INCLUDES MANY NO LONGER AVAILABLE ANYWHERE ELSE!
DON'T GIVE UP OR CHANGE YOUR RACQUET. JUST ASK US!
BE AWARE, RARE GROMMETS CAN BE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!
WHY DO GROMMETS WEAR OUT & REQUIRE REPLACEMENT?
Head Guards wear out due to contact with court surfaces. They require replacement
when worn out, to prevent permanent damage to the racquet's structure over time.
Grommet Tubes wear out due to the stringing process, more easily so, if strung by
inexperienced stringers. The more often your racquets require stringing, the more
often they will also require new grommets. Add to that the natural aging of plastic.
Grommet replacement requires skill. Even the removal of old grommets requires it,
to prevent damage to racquets as well as to prevent debris from finding their way
inside a racquets hollow structures, which can result in some serious noise issues.
We don't recommend you attempt grommet replacement yourself, unless you have
all of the tools required for the job, and the experience required to do it properly.
OEM GROMMETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR MOST MANUFACTURES:
Supplying grommets for racquets that are currently, or recently in production is easy,
supplying them for older racquets takes a commitment to maintain such an inventory,
a commitement most suppliers, other than Tennis Menace are unwilling to undertake.
Example, Wilson Pro Staff St. Vincent & Chicago grommets with & without headguard.
We have hundreds of thousands of tennis racquet grommets in our extensive inventory.
We spent the cash and bought these grommets, while other dealers sat on their hands.
It was, and continues to be a huge investment. Grommets that are available elsewhere
& thus not considered to be rare are not very expensive. However, those that are no
longer available from any other source may be priced many times their normal price.
Such pricing is totally dependent upon how many are still available in our inventory.
We fully understand that some customers feel that paying many times what grommets
originaly cost may not seem kosher, after all grommets are just plastic, but try to see
our situation, we have made the investment to stockpile this huge inventory so that at
least there is a source for rare grommets, after every other source has dried up. If
you consider what percentage of this vast inventory may never get sold, as they are
no longer in demand, the reason for the extra high prices becomes understandable.
If you have searched everywhere and we are your last resort, we suggest you should
be prepared for the possibility that the price will not be what you are used to.
WE CUSTOM GROMMET ANY RACQUET, NO EXCEPTIONS!
If grommets are no longer available for your particular model, even from us,
we can grommet the racquet using our custom grommet replacement system.
The cost is $1.00 per hole, so it varies depending upon a racquet's design.
Racquets that need this service, need to be sent to us for grommeting and a
stringing is required along with the grommet service, @ $24.95 + string price.
YONEX produced a number of racquets that utilized Soft Grommets in both
the throat, & or at at the sides (3:00 & 9:00). These Grommets deteriorate
over time, even the ones in our stock of Yonex replacement grommets. All
Yonex racquet that utilized these soft grommets have the problem. Normally
this would mean that all those racquets are unrepairable, but that's not the
case. We can replace the Soft Grommets with durable ones, which fixes the
problem permanently. Racquet must be sent for service, as indicated above.
NOTE: Grommet sales are for the most part FINAL, with NO REFUNDS GIVEN.
All exchanges and or refunds are entirely at Tennis Menace's sole discretion.
You waive all charge back rights if paying by us for grommets by credit card.
We had to institute this policy, after getting ripped off by a few unscrupulous
buyers, switching grommets on us, returning grommets other than what we sent.
As such, you will need to either trust that Tennis Menace is not in business to
rip anyone off, or you need to seriously consider taking your business elsewhere.
We don't normally take grommets back, and give refunds, so it's important you
verify those received match the worn ones in your racquet, or the hole pattern of
of your naked racquet, before attempting to install them. If by chance you made
a mistake & ordered the wrong ones, contact us before sending them back. We'll
supply you with a Return Authorization Number, required with all returns. We'll
verify upon receipt, that the grommets have not been damaged, which can be the
due to an unsuccessful attempt at installing them, before issuing any credits,
or possibly replacing them with the correct ones, which may, or may not be the
same price. It's up to you to verify you're are buying the correct grommets to
begin with! It's up to you to correctly specify the specific model & or Headsize
of the racquet when placing an order. Racquets often come in multiple headsizes
& or come in varying lengths, as well as having addendums to their names like:
+, PRO, TOUR, TEAM, in a models description. Since we must rely on what you
specify when placing an order we send you an invoice via E-Mail, spelling out in
detail, exactly what you ordered, so there can be not arguments later. Racquets
sold in other countries can often differ from U.S. models. Grommet requests for
racquets WE KNOW to have such issues, will result in our requesting more info,
as to the specific racquet model you require grommets for. We are a U.S. dealer,
& can't be expected to be aware of every non U.S. product situation, thus in an
attempt at avoiding issues, if you're aware that your racquet came from outside
the U.S., we suggest you inform us of that issue, and assume that all grommets
we sell are specifically for U.S. Racquet models, unless otherwise indicated!
PALLET REPLACMENT TO CHANGE A RACQUETS GRIPSIZE!
Volkl is the only manufacture currently producing pallets to change grip sizes.

so you may be able to change the grip shape to one of another manufacturer!
